An Eternity I Decide

the blood had gone dark
over a mark of a wound
harsh pain firmly remains
it would not fade as easily
like the blood just shed
wasted nourishment
scatters into the sea
from where it sprung
I ate to live and grow
but I cut my ankle
stepping on an object
I've never encountered before
attempting to adjust
strange new gadgets on my face
that were old, broken and damaged
an expected pleasurable experience
turned into a time of annoyance
I wanted to end quickly
but extended into an eternity
I decide ends today
