I once whistled
A little tune
Inside my head
I no longer remember
The melody
Nor the words
That became
Its lyrics
I recorded
The song somewhere
A special spot
Where my poor brain
Is at a lost
I recall
Sitting on a piano bench
My fingers tickling
The ivory keys
For the right notes
I recollect
Scribbling lines, circles
On a blank music sheet
Then the syllables and phrases
Underneath
Oh, where is that paper?
The sounds etched
Onto an old cassette tape
In antiquated analog
If I find either
I'll put it in digital
A form that should last
If the engineers
Are correct

Blessings Love Sends
human life is a valuable jewel
to each other we shouldn't be cruel
technology sends us farther
so daily life wouldn't be a bother
but we put new inventions first
ahead of helping new life burst
our money is such a priority
that we forget our humanity
as you see your loved ones passed away
you'll see you have wasted everyday
for things your heart doesn't care about
which in time will anyway die out
so...
spend some time with you father and mother
talk to your sister and brother
tell your spouse i love you
look at what your kids drew
have a meal with your friends
and see what blessing love sends
to each other we shouldn't be cruel
technology sends us farther
so daily life wouldn't be a bother
but we put new inventions first
ahead of helping new life burst
our money is such a priority
that we forget our humanity
as you see your loved ones passed away
you'll see you have wasted everyday
for things your heart doesn't care about
which in time will anyway die out
so...
spend some time with you father and mother
talk to your sister and brother
tell your spouse i love you
look at what your kids drew
have a meal with your friends
and see what blessing love sends

The World is a Mixture
the world is a mixture
a mixture of traditions
a jambalaya of customs
herbs of the lands
spices of tounges
all come together
at a ballroom
and dance together
arms are interlinked
in joyful hops and skips
gentle brushes, reassurring pats
hold up vibrant vitaltity
if Death comes and visit
he will be escorted out
if he adamantly returns
they will chain him up
then toss him
into the nurturing waters
of the world's great oceans
they shall keep dancing
with the merriment
of their ecclectical tunes
a mixture of traditions
a jambalaya of customs
herbs of the lands
spices of tounges
all come together
at a ballroom
and dance together
arms are interlinked
in joyful hops and skips
gentle brushes, reassurring pats
hold up vibrant vitaltity
if Death comes and visit
he will be escorted out
if he adamantly returns
they will chain him up
then toss him
into the nurturing waters
of the world's great oceans
they shall keep dancing
with the merriment
of their ecclectical tunes

Slumbering Spirit
From the caverns of Hades
With the earth-trembling loudness
Of God's booming call
A slumbering spirit arises
And is resurrected
In the nourishing sunlight
And the loving-kindness of Gaia's breath
It is invoked again
And again, and again
A continous song
That the angels will forever sing
But man exhausts it
And extinguishes all its life
That Hades must take it back again
To let it rest in his domain
Until it is fully rejuvenated
In the warmth
Of the embracing darkness
With the earth-trembling loudness
Of God's booming call
A slumbering spirit arises
And is resurrected
In the nourishing sunlight
And the loving-kindness of Gaia's breath
It is invoked again
And again, and again
A continous song
That the angels will forever sing
But man exhausts it
And extinguishes all its life
That Hades must take it back again
To let it rest in his domain
Until it is fully rejuvenated
In the warmth
Of the embracing darkness
