the folder is full
hundreds of loose pages
nothing set in stages
papers you can easily pull
please, do not take any out
i do not want to lose any single one
i don't know when i'll ever be done
but please do not doubt
this is my life story
it will never be finished
this i never wished
and i will never be sorry
i will never apologize
i will not resent
i will not repent
i do not plagiarize
let it crash on the floor
let it scatter
it doesn't matter
what comes out the door
it's for all to read
no censoring
it's for sharing
let it bleed
it will spread
like a contagion on the rise
it will become precise
it will raise the dead
it will heal scars
it will mend tears
it will become shares
for too many jars
i can only dream
happiness for all
i am very small
i am only a little scream
you must do your part
i share myself
to encourage yourself
to set yourself apart
you are to be an original
no one is exactly the same
no one knows, it's a shame
become aboriginal!

Emerging Spring
The moment is emerging spring
Season of births and taking root
New roots growing into the earth
Seedlings bursting out of the dirt
Fresh young leaves on tree branches
Tender and fragile like twigs
Slight breeze can snap it off
Returning birds from the south
Peck at the soil, eating seeds
With new life still inside them
Waiting to come out
When conditions are right
Emerging life is being destroyed
But it also flourishes
With rain pouring life's essence
Water that nourishes flora and fauna
And light pouring down
Warmth that sustains life
Season of births and taking root
New roots growing into the earth
Seedlings bursting out of the dirt
Fresh young leaves on tree branches
Tender and fragile like twigs
Slight breeze can snap it off
Returning birds from the south
Peck at the soil, eating seeds
With new life still inside them
Waiting to come out

The Orchid
The exquisitely beautiful
Faint-colored orchid
Was found grasping
The wide giant trunk
Of an old rubber tree
By a man
Who lived in elite civility
Whose intelligent mind
Thought on horrific perversion
At the center of an ancient
Untouched, virgin rainforest
The man savagely
Tore its roots
Anchoring it there
On the old rubber tree
Took it far away
Into his orchard
Made bountiful
By rigid water streams
By systematic weeding and pruning
By scientific feeding
The orchid was given great care
Ensuring its flower's durability
The flower lived in full bloom
For half a year
But even with no flower
The man loved it
And still gave great care
A few months later
A bud emerged
Then, the man saw
And was astounded
There were other buds
Bursting their heads out
All over his orchard
And he was pleased

A Nation to Save
a beam of light poked through
through my hard dense skull
my brain expanded and grew
I became an engaged running bull
a fine grain of salt fell
onto my palms into a mound
the origin of it I cannot tell
but the mystery does not bound
I salted the ground
to break the old curse
it snapped with a loud sound
it appeared as a nuclear cloud burst
it shook everything with great noise
walls fell to the ground
people yelled with a loud voice
a great secret was found
hidden in a deep cave
unveiled in the sunlight
a nation to save
a tribe to take to flight
through my hard dense skull
my brain expanded and grew
I became an engaged running bull
a fine grain of salt fell
onto my palms into a mound
the origin of it I cannot tell
but the mystery does not bound

WHERE IS THE SUN
when that day's passed
when the wind comes
and blows away the clouds
I will look straight up
into the glaring bright sun
and see a smiling face
instead of a frowning one
that makes me tremble
in an illogical fear
of torturing condemnation
instead of a tearful one
that puts in my heart
an unnecessary guilt
that was not even mine
to take and shoulder on
why was I so stupid
why was I not thinking
I saw only death
no life on the scene
none at all
then realized
it really is too dark
to see true reality
I will mistake things
for what they aren't
I will make many
many miscalculations
I will only stumble along
and will trip all over
all over myself
I will fall into darknes
where is the sun
when will it melt
the darkness away
when the wind comes
and blows away the clouds
I will look straight up
into the glaring bright sun
and see a smiling face
instead of a frowning one
that makes me tremble
in an illogical fear
of torturing condemnation
instead of a tearful one
that puts in my heart

Hope Beacon
the world turned on a dime
a real changed paradigm
a real alternative revolution
a totally new solution
i chime in on the call
the wall looks too tall
i see birds fly over
the wall topples over
the pillars shake
the line to take
answers the question
and more to mention
lies deeper than they look
many fish took the hook
read a book to ponder
all i do is wonder
mankind made a mess
i only wish for the best
and see a hope beacon
a real changed paradigm
a real alternative revolution
a totally new solution
i chime in on the call
the wall looks too tall
i see birds fly over
the wall topples over

answers the question
