Quarrelling Men

Upon a mountain, upon a tower
Among other lords and princes
He saw a dark cloud
Hovering as far as the eye can see
Peals of thunder, bolts of lightning
Filled the cloud...
Water droplets absent, smoke in its place
He knew he could command the cloud
But how, so not all would suffer
If he said the wrong word
That would be the death of all
So, he stands by the window
Watching anxiously as
The men around him
Quarrel

Forever at Bay

The parched land began to crack
The whole landscape was of lack
A looming dark cloud arrived on the scene
All was drenched and began to sheen
It all appeared as a dream
Inside the earth came out a scream
The roots began to rejuvenate
Seeds awakened to germinate
Lush green hues emerged on the scene
Vibrant rainbow colors poppped into the scene
Birds soared again in these skies
Creatures, big and small, stirred again in the sunrise
As the sun sets in the west, as twilight darkens the sky
All are assured of abundance and in slumber, comfortably lie
Tomorrow will be another wonderful day
Famine and illness forever kept at bay

The Tyrant Dragon King

Out of my naive innocence
The tyrant dragon king
Imprisoned me deep down
Inside its cold steel dungeon
From its ill-tempered belly
Its liquid fire...
Poured out on my head
Burnt everything
Except my brain was left intact
Instead of warm, red blood
A boiling mercurial liquid flowed
Through my neuron and synapses
It taught me delinquent concepts
That all masqueraded as
The Alpha and the Omega
The omnipotent
Power of ultimate knowledge
Then, in one single moment
I felt the earth rumble beneath me
The footsteps of mad giants
Stomped hard around his castle
As soon as the earth stilled
Everything above the dungeon
Was uprooted instantly
And sunlight blinded me
As my eyes adjusted to the light
The giants peered down upon me
And smiled...
I found my whole body new again
As if reborn from my mother's womb

The Voice and the Bush

Take the chance
Though frightening
Make a stance
In the face of lightning
The bush is afire
A large voice booms
Over the wire
That overhead looms
Moses answered it
Will you?
