Blooming Flowers

Blooming flowers surround the world
Their sweet smell is very subtle
If you pause a minute
Your nose will pick up a hint
Everytime you recognize it--
The fragrance begins to
Overwhelm and overpower you
More and more each time

The rotting fruits on the ground
Half-eaten and trampled om
Makes you very ill and nauseous
Flying bugs flitter all around
Worms and crawling insects
Move themselves all over
You run to escape
But find that this is what is
And endless orchard of rotting fruit

The flowers of the earth are there
Bursting through the soil made fertile
By these rotting fruits no one wanted
There are patches of them
Found on once desolate places
The rain and wind shifted everything
Fertile land become empty wasteland
The world is rebalancing itself
Birth, death and renewal...
